Field Accountant

Description

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Field Accountant to manage on-site financial operations, maintain accurate records, and ensure timely reporting of expenses and transactions. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in field environments and coordinating with site teams, vendors, sourcing agents, farmers and head office accounts departments.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain daily cash flow and site expense records.
• Verify invoices
• bills
• and supporting documents.
• Prepare daily
• weekly
• and monthly financial reports.
• Manage petty cash and site-related payments.
• Coordinate with procurement and project teams for financial documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
• Reconcile site accounts with head office records.
• Monitor labor payments
• vendor payments
• and operational expenses.
• Assist in audits and financial inspections when required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Finance
• B.Com
• M. Com
• MBA or relevant field.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting or field finance operations.
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel and ERP procedures.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently in field locations.
• Experience in agriculture
• construction
• industrial or project-based environments will be preferred.
