Job Summary

The Investment Associate will be responsible for conducting financial and investment analysis, evaluating investment opportunities, developing financial models, performing valuations, and supporting management in investment and portfolio-related decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed financial and investment analysis to support investment decisions.

• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and projections.

• Perform company and investment valuations using appropriate valuation techniques.

• Conduct portfolio and investment performance analysis and identify key trends.

• Evaluate potential investment opportunities and prepare investment recommendations.

• Conduct industry, company, and market research.

• Prepare management reports, investment summaries, and presentations.

• Monitor financial performance, KPIs, risks, and investment returns.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.

• Coordinate with internal teams to collect and validate financial and operational data.

Requirements

• CA Inter / CA Finalist

• 5+ years of relevant experience in investment analysis, portfolio analysis, financial analysis, equity research, valuation, or related roles.

• Strong experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, valuation, and portfolio/investment analysis.

• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial modeling.

• Strong management reporting and presentation skills.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong understanding of financial statements and investment fundamentals.

• Ability to manage multiple assignments and work under pressure.

• Experience with ERP systems, BI tools, or investment research tools will be a plus.
